Juno Caching

Constance’s opinion on Juno Caching:

“We had a great time with my 8 year old grandniece Alya in the Juno Beach Centre Park. We went to discover “Juno Caching”, which is in fact a kind of treasure hunt. We loved this game where we had to look hard to find the hiding places where the riddles were hidden. We managed to find everything!

De Dieppe à Juno : une exposition sur le 80e anniversaire du Raid de Dieppe

This new exhibition at the Juno Beach Centre can be seen from 12 March 2022.

At dawn on 19 August 1942, Canadian and British troops began landing on the beaches of Dieppe. Their mission was to take the town, destroy the local port facilities and return to England with secret documents that could give the Allies an advantage in the course of the war. Unfortunately, the Raid did not go according to plan. Operation Jubilee became a bloodbath rather than the hoped-for exercise in bravery, daring and daring.

The Dieppe Raid remains one of the most significant events in Canadian Second World War history. The exhibition Dieppe to Juno brings a plurality of “Dieppe voices” to the exhibition, offering visitors the opportunity to explore the nuances and complexity of the Raid.
